UV-400 is recommended for use in automotive OEM coatings and repair paints catalyzed by amine or metal. If UV-400 is used in combination with hindered amine light stabilizers such as TINUVIN 292 or TINUVIN 123, its efficiency can be significantly improved. This synergistic effect has a good inhibiting effect on the reduction of gloss, cracking, bubbling, delamination and discoloration of clear varnish.
